Asian comfort food during CinemAsia
From Thursday April 9 through Sunday April 12, CinemAsia brings Asian fusion comfort food to Mireille’s Pop-up on the mezzanine at Rialto De Pijp.
Expect generous, flavourful dishes inspired by a range of Asian cuisines. Everyone is welcome, with both meat and vegan options available.
The soup is a rich blend of seasonal vegetables with carefully selected herbs and spices.
The daily specials vary each day, featuring dishes such as Cha Siu, smoor with ginger and lemon leaf, gochujang chicken (or chickpeas), and a selection of rendang and curry dishes.
And for dessert: think chocolate mousse and truffles – the perfect ending.

Every Thursday and Friday, from 5pm onwards, it starts smelling delicious in Rialto because then, all year round, our Chef Mireille serves a changing array of world and seasonal comfort food.
There is always soup, a main course and a dessert. Everyone is welcome and everyone can join in, as there is always a meat ánd vegan variant and everything is gluten-free.
The delicious soup (€ 6,75) is made from the current season's vegetables and complementary herbs.
The main dish (€ 14,50) is a stew inspired by a different cuisine every week* (vegan option available) – think birria, tikka-masala, mole-verde, rendang, zoervleis, curry or smoor. The dish is served with a side of rice and seasonal vegetables.
And what's for dessert (€ 6,75)? There are usually two desserts on the menu, one of which is één chocolate mousse with truffle, which some people comefor specifically. In addition to this vegan treat, there is often a hangop with something fruity added.
